Casual Outfits If You’re Tired Of Sweats.

This blog came with a little bit of inspo from from a post I saw on Bloglovin’ from NotJessFashion. In the beginning, I was basically just wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt. Actually, that was all I was wearing! But now that we are months into quarantine I have been changing it up from time to time. I still go back to my sweats and a tee but I like to also go ‘comfy but make it cute’ some days.

I noticed that NotJessFashion and I have a very different idea of how we are inspired by the casual look. That is completely okay though! That’s why fashion, blogging, style, etc. are all subjective, and I love that! Here are my looks that help me get out of sweats but still get the casual, yet comfy feel.

Palazzo Pants and Tank

Palazzo pants are always a great go-to. They have so much flow and you can dress them up or down. These pants can be styled with a tank top with patterns, designs, graphics or even just a plain color and still give me the cute, comfy look I want to achieve.

Leggings with A Light Jacket

Leggings are a girl’s favorite all year round. They are the favorite in bum-chic but I paired mine with a light jacket and sandals for a more summertime but relaxed look. Throwing on a crop top gives you a little more air flow so that you still feel a coolness on the hotter days, which is what I chose to do here!

Jumpsuit/Romper

I feel that the jumpsuit gives you a sweatpants feel while also getting away from it, and if it’s a hotter day a romper may even be the preferred choice for that day. Both jumpsuits and rompers are so loose and are another look that can be styled up or down but regardless will give you that coziness all day.

Oversized Hoodie/Shirt

I watch so many Youtubers that like to rock the oversized top, whether they are in or out of the house. It’s like wearing a warmer, cozier dress and still accomplishing a no-pants kind of day. For me personally, I like to throw on a pair of running shorts, still comfy and no worries about the sweatshirt riding up in anyway.

Printed/Paper Bag Shorts

Printed shorts are such a summer staple, whether they have bright colors, palm leaves, a boho style, etc. There are so many varieties, they are endless! I don’t know how long paper bag shorts have been a thing but I only discovered them last year and I love ’em! Perfect to wear a tank top, crop top or tuck any shirt into. They make such a statement, a high rise with a fringe and belt accessory. I think everyone should own a pair of these!

Flowy Dress

As much as I LOVE dresses, I don’t wear them nearly enough. I bought a few that have been sitting in my closet waiting for the day that they breath some fresh air. This summer will be the one! In addition to those, I have bought a few that I just love and cannot wait to wear. A flowy dress especially, makes you feel much more free and less restricted feel.

Baggy/Mom Jeans and A Tee

Moms jeans have been back and I am HERE. FOR. IT. They are just all around great for so many different looks. I personally like the jeans and tee look but you can change it up in so many ways. Since they don’t feel congested, I think these are an even better way to stay comforted.

These outfits speak to me when it comes to casual, yet comfy, yet cute 🙂 . They have more of a summery feel considering we are also at that point in the year, which is of course a good thing to keep in mind.

This is how I styled them in particular but they can always be changed up! Some days I might rock the baggy/mom jean look with converse and a tank and that will still be what I am going for. Like I said, style is subjective 🙂 . Rock your style with the idea of these looks in mind for a little inspo! If you’re interested in any of the pieces I am wearing, even if it’s a pair of shoes, reach out! Send me a DM on insta or comment down below.

What are some of your looks that you like to wear that give you that casual feel, other than sweats?

See ya,
