Movies I Can Watch Over and Over Again.

These days, I have been watching lots of movies, even more than usual. I’ve tried to watch ones that I haven’t seen to get through 2020 films, as well as ones to get through the collection! In the beginning of the year, I put aside a pile of movies that were a necessity to watch. These were a must because they were either classics or ones that I’ve have been saying I need to watch for awhile. I watched more than half, which I would say is pretty good! In this pile were movies like, Paterson, What We Do In The Shadows, Lord of the Rings trilogy, and MORE!

With that said, it got me thinking… what are the movies that I have seen that I could watch again and again and again… and again?! These movies would be some that I will never get sick of, ever.

How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days.

This rom-com is everything. Not only one of my fave movies of all time but truly, I don’t know how I didn’t burn out the DVD I owned. I literally LOL each time, I fall in love with Andie and Ben all over again, on the rare occasion that I hear “You’re So Vain” this movie pops right into my head, plus Andie is a journalist so that’s a bit of a draw for me too! Did I mention Kate Hudson is my favorite actress? Well, add that onto my reasons as well 🙂 .

She’s Out Of My League.

I don’t know if I can say I LOL at each funny moment in this film but there is at least a chuckle. Kirk is the typical funny, shy, nerdy guy but there really is something about him you can’t help but love! He thinks he doesn’t have it all but he is the full package. The goofy moments in this film are just so relatable because you think “that’s happened to me” and if it hasn’t specifically, I’m sure you can relate in some way! I love the messages that this movie offers like, everyone is a ten in someone’s eyes, everyone has their flaws/quirks, things like that. This movie is definitely a 10 on the rewatchability scale 😉 .

Crazy, Stupid, Love.

Don’t even get me started with this one! For me, this movie was before I came anywhere near watching The Office. Steve Carell won me over, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone are forever and always movie love interests, the LOL moments, the twist ending. Oh, and Jacob’s laugh at the end, I don’t know what it is about it but it gets me every time. Another rom-com that will leave you with a smile.

The Dark Knight.

I know, I’m just like the rest of them out there. I can’t get enough of Heath Ledger’s performance and it is on my top comic book movie lists. But you know what, this is definitely an instance in which, I don’t care. This is so much more than just a Batman/comic book movie and I can watch it on loop. The year that the movie was realized I received three… THREE different blu-ray copies… from three different people! If that doesn’t tell you something, than I don’t know!

Step Brothers.

This is one of the most quotable and entertaining films. It is stupid humor but I am all for it and each joke still gets me every time. When this would play on TV, I would stop and watch this regardless of what point in the movie it was at. The comedic chemistry that Will Farrell and John C. Reilly share is gold and every other character truly just builds on even more! This movie will never get old.

Scary Movie 3.

There are countless parody movies, excluding the Scary Movie series but this is absolutely the BEST one overall. I use to be able to quote almost every line from beginning to end. My best friend at the time and I use to watch so often that we started to memorize it. I love the movies they reference and the references themselves. It was great for it’s time and for me personally, it still holds up!

Disturbia.

I watched this movie everyday for at least two months straight, some years ago… I am not exaggerating. For one, it’s Shia and if you know me, you know Shia is ma boy. The girl next door with the horror/thriller aspect intrigues me. I feel like this could definitely be one that people would disagree with me but I feel like there is so much there to appreciate.

Even though the majority of these films are comedy, I feel like there is a little mix. Comedy is that genre that has SUCH a rewatchability factor. If a comedy is done right, you will laugh at the jokes with each watch and not get sick of what you expect to come next. And if you know me, there needed to be at least one horror/thriller on there. This may be a “basic” list of movies, some might say but they are the movies I can watch time and time again, even if you don’t agree 🙂 .

I hope you enjoyed my list and if you haven’t seen these films, I definitely recommend them.

See ya,
Samm 🌻
