Valentine’s Day Looks for Date Night.

It’s that time of year… Valentine’s Day is just days away! Each year I like to go out and find a new outfit to wear for date night. I think I feel more conflicted this year than the past years. I usually have my mind set on a new dress but thinking back, is that what I want this year? Maybe I want to change it up with a sweater, some jeans, a skirt, something like that. I will say when I have worn a dress I have gotten some funny looks so maybe that’s another thing I want to avoid, but we’ll see!

I wanted to share some different outfits choices for the special night out! Whether it be a dress or not!

This sheer mesh top was the first thing I noticed when I walked into Forever 21 and I fell in love. The extreme heart pattern is all over the place and it is perfect for this heart filled holiday. I liked the half up half down look for this top so I threw in a red scunchie to complete it.

This sweetheart bodycon dress is so cute, so simple, and so perfect for a nice dinner, a movie, a wine tasting, etc. I paired it with this clip-on bow to give it a little more of a sweet look.

A high-low heart print skirt… yes, please! This skirt can be styled to transform so many different looks! A crop top, tee, high heels, flat sneakers… just some examples!

Pink all around! I am a very color coordinated type of person, especially when it comes to holidays. I think to throw on some pink and red for V-Day, you are set. These pink jackie pants are a personal top pick! I was drawn to them the moment I saw them.

Who says you can’t wear a graphic tee with a skirt?! I don’t know if anyone has ever said that but to me, it’s adorable! For those unfamiliar with the phrase, Je T’aime, it means “I love you” in French. How romantic is that?

Being a New Yorker, it is COLD during this time of year. If you don’t want to go out in anything that doesn’t covered your legs, I totally get it! I think a pink, red or white sweater with a pair of jeans is a great way to look cute and also stay warm!

But of course. there is always the option to do it up in a dress! I love wearing dresses but don’t wear them too often so that’s also another reason I enjoy this night. I think of it as a good excuse. I think this dress is also nice because although perfect for Valentine’s Day, I feel this can be worn throughout the year.

No matter what you choose to wear, flaunt it! You’re going to look amazing 🙂 . I hope everyone has a loving Valentine’s Day filled with lots of chocolate and good food! Also, let me know what you wore for the big date night! Even if the big date night just consisted of staying in, let me know!

See ya,
Samm 🌻
