What Podcasts Are You Listening To?

Are you a podcast listener? I was never one to listen to podcasts. Now, when I am in the car that is practically all I listen to! I have been discovering at least one podcast a month since I started seriously listening to them. I want to share with you some of my fave podcasts to maybe give you something new to listen to.

Chicks In The Office.

CITO is a podcast from Barstool Sports that discusses various pop culture topics and news. Almost every episode there is a guest interview with someone of the celebrity status. If you are someone that is into the Bachelor/Bachelorette, Love Island, and other shows like that, you will love this even more. I personally don’t watch any of those shows but after listening to what they have to say, I feel up to date on all that is going on! Ria and Fran have a great relationship and their producer, Noah, joins in from time to time. The chemistry between the three of them feels very strong. #FridayEnergy

Crime Junkie.

Each episode Ash and Brit talk true crime based on missing, murdered, serial killers, and wanted cases. There are even updates when new information has come out. They have been junkies their whole lives and really understand the information that they are sharing with their listeners. Overall, they will discuss cases that are more so low profile. So cases like the Zodiac Killer, Casey Anthony, Manson Family, etc. will most likely not be discussed. On the Crime Junkie Patreon page, the O.J. Simpson case was discussed, along with other bonus episodes. I can’t get enough of this podcast so I have recently became a patron!

Comic Blast.

Get your nerdy fix with Keenan and Grayson as they speak their minds on comic book movies and shows, and video games too. If you are a big fan of Spider-Man (like myself) or Star Wars… this is the podcast for YOU! This is another one that I recently joined as a patron and I don’t regret it. You would think these two have grown up together and they only met through a friend just a few years ago. They go off on tangents, recite sound effects and just enjoy each others company. This adds to the indulgence of each episode! SHAZAM!

No Sleep.

The No Sleep podcast scares the crap out of me to NO ENDS in the best way possible. David Cummings and various other narrators read the ‘best of’ horror stories on Reddit. If you know me, you know I am a huge horror fan so this is one I cannot listen to enough. It has been around for the longest time so I feel like I will have endless stories to listen to and I am so thankful for that. Not going to lie, I did take a little break from this one because I freaked myself out at some point but I cannot wait to revisit it. If you listen and think I am a wimp, so be it 🙂 , haha.

Solve.

Solve is an interactive murder mystery podcast based on true crime that came from iHeart Radio. These are real stories narrated by actors to help you become a detective yourself and figure out who the killer is. This podcast has taught me to stick to my day job because I am NOT detective material. But that is exactly why this exists! I learned about this podcast through my co-workers. We each listen and reveal who we think it is together then listen to who the culprit actually is.

I have listened to maybe fifteen to twenty different podcasts, whether it has been to just check it out or I have continued to listen but I have not come across another podcast like this one!

Life With Amy and Jordan.

Amy and Jordan are a married couple that are photographers. They teach life lessons, tips and share experiences from their own life. I got all caught up on their episodes and then they stopped uploading for awhile. Considering they gave birth to their second child a short while ago, this is probably why they have been so absent. They recently posted again so I’ll be glad to go back and check them out again!

I feel like they are different from the other podcasts I listen to. I guess it’s because I don’t listen to many, if any, couples host a podcast together so it has a different feel to it. I think that is part of what I appreciate about them so much.

Life is Short with Justin Long.

Can I just say, it took me a few episodes until hearing Justin Long explain “that is the irony of my podcast… life is SHORT with Justin LONG“? It blew my mind. Justin and his brother, Christian host this podcast. Justin Long has a celebrity on each episode and interviews them. Christian will jump on at the beginning and end for Justin and him to have their own commentary. He has had a variety of different entertainers on, ranging from actors to musicians to chefs to comedians and more! I have always had a fascination with Justin Long so once I found out about this podcast I was all in!

These podcasts aren’t in any particular order. Just some of my faves that I wanted to pass along 🙂 . I have some others that I listen to as well but these are the top picks of the bunch. Although, I typically like to listen to each while driving, it has been a perfect way to pass the time and help to feel more sane during this time 🙂 . Tell me, what are some of the podcasts you are listening to! Are you interested in any of the ones that I listen to? Let me know!

See ya,
Samm 🌻
